auto bpm not working

I recently updated from ver 7.xx? to 8.2.28 and now the auto bpms stopped working. At first showxpress would show that it recognized a bpm signal after checking the bpm box on the live panel, but now it doesn't show anything whether checked or not.

Anyone else have this happen? I've tried ...
