Latest showfile runthrough

Hey all, figured I would give a runthrough of my last showfile from SX. This is a punt style show- I improvise with a lot of jam bands and its FUN. I deleted a bunch of pages/jumble scenes to make the video quicker and cleaner. I've moved on to a more tour friendly software but I still find myself ...

Re: Duplicate fixture with same programming

I'm requesting this feature out of complete necessity, I got hired to run a pretty big EDM show out of town tomorrow and I'm using my master showfile that I've used all year which consists of Intimidator 350's, 140SR Hybrids, R1 Washes, etc. At this gig I am being supplied with lighting rather than ...

Re: Duplicate fixture with same programming

Tried this workaround, unfortunately programming does not copy over to the imported fixture.

To be honest I know extremely little about computer programming, but, maybe this could work: I opened up a .scex file in notepad to look at the 'under the hood' contents, and it would be amazing if some ...

Re: function fan

Excuse my quick mockup but this would be amazing for steps when creating static positions, very quickly. Static positions use a lot of fanning but we have to eyeball it/take more time to set the pan/tilt values by hand. Some cool, quick positions could be made if this was somehow implemented ...

I was hoping to have more direct control: One midi button to select the scene and multiple presses of the same midi button to step through the steps of that scene.
Exactly. This is probably the most clear way to say what I was thinking. This would do wonders for my showfile(s)

Re: Midi to control stepping through steps in a scene [fixed

The new "Beat" function in live is the answer to stepping manually through steps of a scene.

I have been requesting this function be applicable to individual scenes, like you were saying, where you can press one midi button to cycle through steps of that specific scene. In the case of V9, it's a ...

Re: Duplicate fixture with same programming

This is something myself and some other LD's have been requesting for a couple years now. It would be a huge breakthrough for the software if this could be made possible. Traveling with a tour package and coming into a new room with some house lighting makes programming tedious and time consuming ...

V9 - Samwise309 Feedback

Support,

I've only had a short bit of playtime with V9 so far. User TimH brought up a lot of good initial points about the software;

3D Improvements are great
Multi pan/tilt fixtures and graphics are great
The Create lightshow function is a really neat thing for new users/getting the workflow ...

(Request) Preset Slider Advancing

Good day Admin,

I was playing around with the different uses for the preset slider option on a button. Something that's been discussed between a few users that would be very helpful, is to be able to make a preset slider button with however many steps (for this example I'll use 3 steps). When you ...
